The final night of celebrity judges have been announced for this year’s 2019 Miss America Competition.
The following judges will evaluate the 51 Miss America candidates on live television from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. on ABC:
Laila Ali: four-time undefeated boxing world champion and daughter of the late Muhammad Ali
Bobby Bones: an on-air personality for a country radio morning show
Jessie James Decker: a country music singer/songwriter
Randy Jackson: a music producer and former “American Idol” judge
Soledad O’Brien: well-known news anchor
Alli Webb: entrepreneur and founder of Drybar
Carnie Wilson: a singer and songwriter for the pop group Wilson Phillips, as well as an author and TV host
Today’s #PageantTipTuesday is all about your interview mindset ? Pageant interview can be an incredibly daunting and stressful process. You have no idea what the judges will ask, what they’re looking for, whether you’ll get across what you want to achieve, will they like you, the list is endless! BUT one thing we tend to forget in our nervous state is the purpose of an interview. Judges want to get to know who you are. They want you to succeed and relax and, ultimately, to just have a conversation. The best interviews that I’ve done were the ones where I calmed my mind before hand, breathed and went in only thinking about one thing- having a normal conversation with normal people about me. I came out of my interview at Miss Continents 2018 so calm because I honestly forgot it was an interview, I just got to tell some new people about what I’d been up to!
