Crown Garland, LLC – License Holder of United States National Pageants, Inc. – Named a Certifying Organization for the President’s Volunteer Service Award
Crown Garland, LLC, the license holder of The United States National Pageants Organization®, is proud to announce its selection as a Certifying Organization for the President’s Volunteer Service Award!
The President’s Volunteer Service Award (PVSA) is the premier volunteer awards program, encouraging citizens to live a life of service through presidential gratitude and national recognition. The President’s Volunteer Service Award is an initiative of the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS) and is administered by Points of Light, the largest organization in the world dedicated to volunteer service. Through a shared mission of inspiring more to answer the call to service, the President’s Volunteer Service Award celebrates the impact we can all make in bettering our communities and our world.
The President’s Volunteer Service Award recognizes individuals, families, and groups that have achieved a certain standard through the measuring of hours of service over a 12-month period or cumulative hours earned over the course of a lifetime.
The United States National Pageants Organization® prides itself in providing an avenue for each young woman to give a voice to those needing to be heard, lend a hand to those less fortunate, and be a compass for those daring to dream. At the local, state, and national level, the Miss United States Pageant gives women the opportunity to promote a platform of community service. As the largest pageant system for girls and women ages 8+ in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and five U.S. territories, this certification allows us to formally recognize the outstanding commitment to service our contestants and titleholders have exemplified since the founding of our organization 30 years ago.
Recognition of the President’s Volunteer Service Award will begin at the 2017 Miss United States Pageant being held in Orlando, Florida June 30 – July 8, 2017. Official state preliminary pageants beginning this year will also have the opportunity to recognize contestants, titleholders, and community leaders who have met the qualifications for the award. More information about the President’s Volunteer Service Award can be found on the official website, www. presidentialserviceawards.gov. Further information on how to submit hours for the President’s Volunteer Service Award through the United States National Pageants will be available on our website soon.
